No Guitar? No Problem!
“I didn’t practice this week. We were traveling and we couldn’t take a guitar.” This is a really common theme during the summer months. It’s also one reason many parents might consider taking a break from lessons. But taking a break is the last thing you want to do.
An online rhythm course is the solution:
To remedy this issue, I am excited to announce a new rhythm course. This course will be released on May 31, 2026. It is a course focused on rhythm which is a major part of playing a guitar. Ask your kiddo (Or yourself if you take lessons with me) how often I tell them to tap their foot and count. I say it a lot!
The reality is, some of the “foot work” with rhythm can be done without a guitar! Accordingly, this course is designed to be done without a guitar. It covers the basics of musical time, methods on counting and fun exercises that can be done with no guitar in sight. The later modules in the course also show how to implement these exercises on guitar once you’ve returned from vacation.
A Great Supplement For A Missed Lesson!
Everyone will miss at least one lesson this summer due to traveling, family reunions, etc. This is one way I am increasing the value of summertime lessons. If you do miss lessons, you can still take advantage of this and many other online resources I have for my students!
